BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY
MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 14, 2024
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.
Members present: Jim Christianson, Josh Keller, Todd Kovash
Members absent: Jake Axtman and Kyle Holwagner
Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson Corey Voegele, Isak Johnson
Others present: Commissioner Mike Connelly, Kate Herzog and Julie Mees
MINUTES
Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the February 8, 2024 meeting.
MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Todd Kovash and unanimously approved by all
members present that the minutes of the February 8, 2024 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Josh Keller with a roll call vote, Josh-aye,
Todd-aye, and Jim-aye to approve the February financials.
EQUIPMENT-PICKUP VEHICLE PURCHASE
- Jeremy Petron reported that we went thru City Fleet Services and have a new pickup on order for $44,675.
OTHER BUSINESS
- 3rd Street and Thayer Ave Intersection—Consensus of the Board is to encourage the public to send comments
for DOT to the Downtowners and through the City website related to the safety of the 3rd & Rosser lot parking
customers and traffic light intersection safety.
- Jeremy Petron reported that NDIRF increased the valuations on the Parking Ramps.
MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Josh Keller with a roll call vote, Josh-aye,
Todd-aye and Jim-aye to accept the new evaluations for the Ramps from NDIRF.
ADJOURNMENT
- There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority
adjourned at 9:26 A.M. and will meet again on April 11, 2024.
