BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

JUNE 12, 2025

 

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Josh Keller, Todd Kovash and Jon Burger

Members absent: Jake Axtman

Staff Members: Dennis Torgerson, Sue Schaff and Corey Voegele

Others present: Mayor Mike Schmitz, Kate Herzog, Derek Kost, Jenny Wollmuth

 

 

MINUTES

 

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the May 8, 2025 meeting.

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash , seconded by Josh Keller and unanimously approved by all

                       members present that the minutes of the May 8, 2025 meeting be approved.

 

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Jon Burger with a roll call vote, Jon-aye, Josh-aye,

                      Todd-aye and Jim-aye to approve the May financials.

 

 

 

PARKADE REPAIRS PROJECT-RSI CHANGE ORDER

 

- Derek Kost from CW Structural explained that the Walker drawings for bid all contained the same language for

   all contractors. Construction hours were not specified in the construction documents. The contractor is planning

   to start June 16, 2025.

 

     MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Jon Burger with a roll call vote, Jon-aye, Josh-aye,

                       Todd-aye and Jim-aye to approve the change order from RSI for $55,800.

 

 

PREVIEW GENERAL NEW RAMP PICTURE RENDERINGS CONCEPTS

- Jenny Wollmuth presented pictures of new ramp renderings and potential locations.

 

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

 

ADJOURNMENT

- There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned at 9:28 A.M. and will meet again July 10 2025.
