BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

APRIL 10, 2025

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Jake Axtman, Josh Keller, and Todd Kovash per phone

Members absent: Jon Burger

Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson Corey Voegele, Isak Johnson

Others present: Mayor Mike Schmitz, Kate Herzog and Jason Tomanek

 

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the March 13, 2025 meeting.

     MOTION: A motion was made by Jake Axtman , seconded by Josh Keller and unanimously approved by all members present

                   that the minutes of the March 13, 2025 meeting be approved.

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

     MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Jake Axtman with a roll call vote, Josh-aye, Jake-aye, Todd-aye

                   and Jim-aye to approve the March financials.

 

UPDATE ON PARKADE REPAIRS TIMELINE

- Jeremy Petron reported that they are working out the logistics for the Parkade repairs and contractor will have the schedule

   soon.

 

DISCUSS ENGINEER RENDERING OPTIONS FOR NEW RAMP

- Discussion was held about asking consultants for a possible proposal for renderings for a new ramp. The Board directed

   management to seek proposals.

PAY REQUESTS

     MOTION: A motion was made by Josh Keller, seconded by Jake Axtman with a roll call vote, Josh-aye, Jake-aye,

                   Todd-aye and Jim-aye to approve the pay request from Walker Consultants.

 

ADJOURNMENT

- There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority adjourned

   at 9:14 A.M. and will meet again May 8 2025.
