BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY
MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 13, 2025
The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 A.M. in the Tom Baker Room, Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presiding.
Members present: Jim Christianson, Todd Kovash, Jake Axtman and Jon Burger
Members absent: Josh Keller
Staff Members: Jeremy Petron, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson Corey Voegele, Isak Johnson
Others present: Mayor Mike Schmitz and Kate Herzog
MINUTES
- Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the February 13, 2025 meeting.
MOTION: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Jake Axtman and unanimously approved by all
members present that the minutes of the February 13, 2025 meeting be approved.
REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Jon Burger, seconded by Todd Kovash with a roll call vote, Jon-aye,
Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye to approve the February financials.
REVIEW PARKADE RAMP REPAIRS RFP BIDS
MOTON: A motion was made by Todd Kovash, seconded by Jake Axtman with a roll call vote, Jon-aye,
Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye to approve the bid from Restoration Systems for the Parkade
entrance ramp repairs, column repairs on the green level and traffic coating on the green level
for a total of $248,310.
- Jeremy Petron reported that the engineer’s estimate was $220,000.
OTHER BUSINESS
PAY REQUESTS
MOTION: A motion was made by Jake Axtman, seconded by Jon Burger with a roll call vote, Jon-aye,
Todd-aye, Jake-aye and Jim-aye to approve the pay requests from CW Structural and Walker
Consultants.
ADJOURNMENT
- There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal Parking
Authority adjourned at 9:15 A.M. and will meet again April 10, 2025.
