BISMARCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY

MEETING MINUTES

MARCH 10, 2016

 

The Bismarck Municipal Parking Authority met in regular session on the above date at                                                                                                                 9:00 A.M. in the David J Blackstead meeting room in the City-County Building, 221 N 5th St.,                                                                                                Bismarck, North Dakota. Chairman Jim Christianson presided.

 

Members present: Jim Christianson, Claire Anne Holmberg, Russ

                           Kadlec and Brian Peterson

Members absent: Dina Baird

 

Staff Members: Rocky Gordon, Sue Schaff, Dennis Torgerson                                                                                                                                                     Alllan Mastel and Jason Tomaneck                                                                                                                                                                                           

                  

Others present: Kate Herzog, Madison Cermak and Andrew Stromme

 

MINUTES

Chairman Jim Christianson called for consideration of the minutes of the February 11, 2016

meeting.

 

MOTION A motion was made by Claire Anne Holmberg, seconded by Russ

             Kadlec and unanimously approved by all members present that the

             minutes of the February 11, 2016 meeting be approved.

 

REVIEW OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Russ Kadlec

with a roll call vote, Brian-aye, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye, and

Jim-aye to approve the February financial statement.

 

CONSIDER 2016 FINANCIAL PROJECTION

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Claire Anne Holmberg, seconded by Brian

              Peterson with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye, Brian-aye

              and Jim-aye to approve the 2016 Financial Projection.

 

DISCUSS FACADE CLEANUP-PARKADE EXTERIOR

Discussion was held about painting and redoing the facade on the Broadway side of the Parkade                                                                                                 similar to the Redwing end. Rocky Gordon was asked to get an estimate to bring back to the next                                                                                             meeting.

　

　

GALLERIA SHORING PURCHASE

 

Rocky Gordon was asked to get more pricing information and bring back to the next meeting.

 

REPLACE LIGHTING IN PARKADE MECHANICAL ROOM

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Claire Anne Holmberg, seconded by Russ

             Kadlec with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye, Brian-aye

             and Jim-aye to approve Gross Electric to install lighting in the

             Parkade mechanical room for $2500.

 

SIGNAGE INSIDE SOUTH STAIR TOWER ON 6^TH STREET RAMP

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Brian Peterson, seconded by Claire Anne

              Holmberg with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye,

              Brian-aye and Jim-aye to approve directional signs inside

              the south stair tower of the 6^th Street Ramp not to exceed

              $1800.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

REIMBURSEMENT REQUEST-PINCH & POUR-PARKADE BUILD OUT

 

MOTION: A motion was made by Claire Anne Holmberg, seconded by

              Brian Peterson with a roll call vote, Russ-aye, Claire Anne-aye,

              Brian-aye and Jim-aye to approve payment of $47,000 for the

              reimbursement of the build out on the Pinch & Pour space.

 

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Chairman Jim Christianson declared the Bismarck Municipal                                                                                                          Parking Authority adjourned at 9:35 A.M. and will meet again in regular session April 14, 2016.
